|Summary||Host Jamie Simpson will interview participants in this past Sunday's successful March and Rally for Black Community Control of police, and play clips of the life changing presentations delivered at the demonstration . We will report on the dynamic growth the Uhuru Solidarity Movement and polarization occurring in the white community as African people refuse to surrender their demands for self determination and reparations on their own terms.
In the second half of this week's show we will speak with Penny Hess, Chairwoman of the African People's Solidarity Committee, and Jesse Nevel, Chair of the Uhuru Solidarity Movement about the struggle against white opportunism evident in white activists attempting to set the terms for how black people struggle for their own liberation. We will clearly draw the line between principled white solidarity with Black Power and white interventionism and opportunism. This is a critical discussion.
