"Connecting The Points" is the title of this episode of Africa Live hosted by Dedan Sankara.
We begin the show with the poem "Somebody Blew Up America" by Amiri Baraka. Ten months after the 2001 World Trade Center attack, then New Jersey poet laureate Baraka wrote, "Who had the slaves Who got the bux out the Bucks
Who got fat from plantations Who genocided Indians Tried to waste the Black nation." The founder of the Black Arts Movement,Baraka died January 9th,2014.
