This week on Reparations in Action, we will hear the presentation delivered by Penny Hess, Chairwoman of the African People's Solidarity Committee, at the Day in Solidarity with African People event in St. Petersburg, Florida on October 23, 2014. Chairwoman Hess explains why the Uhuru Movement defines the problem faced by African people as colonialism, not racism, and how this critical understanding informs white people on how to take a principled stance of solidarity with African people and their struggle for liberation.
