SummaryBruce Dixon of Black Agenda Report was born and raised on the South side of Chicago. Inspired by the example of his own father and that of the Freedom Movement, he took part in organizing high school students in 1967 and 68, the Black Panther Party in Chicago in 69 and 70, and a long string of involvements with tenant and community organizing projects, rank and file caucus efforts and attempts to organize new unions, and of course political campaigns and voter registration drives. Omme Salma Rahemtullah of The Group for Research and Initiative for the liberation of Africa (GRILA). Rahemtullah will discusses the coup at CHRY-FM in Toronto.
