| Summary | Broadcasting from Oakland, African People's Solidarity Committee organizer Wendy Snyder will talk live with family members of Jody "Mack" Woodfox, a 27-year-old African man who was murdered by Oakland police officer Hector Jimenez on July 25th, 2008 during a traffic stop. Jimenez is now on paid leave but also fatally shot and killed Andrew Moppin on New Year's Eve. We will also discuss the Uhuru Pies 2008 fundraiser and the way people can get involved in supporting the African led campaigns of the Uhuru Movement and making "Uhuru" a household word. |
