Summary | In the first half of the program we will hear the opening presentation from Chairwoman Penny Hess of the African People's Solidarity Committee about what a principled stance in solidarity from the white community with African and other colonized peoples struggles for national liberation looks like and its urgency in this era.
We will then hear from Women's International Peace Service volunteer activists, Dezeray Lynn and Bettejo Indelicato. Their presentation is a detailed report back from occupied Palestine where Palestinians endure Israeli settler occupation on a daily basis, and demonstrates the similarities to life under US police occupation for African people.
Finally we will hear a recording of the question and answer session from the same event that addressed the demand for black community control of police with Chairman of the African people's Socialist Party, Omali Yeshitela.
