This week on Africa Live, before replaying an extended excerpt of the first public study of the Political Report to the 6th Congress Dedan Sankara will host, This Moment In History, featuring Omali Yeshitela, Chairman of the African People's Socialist Party. They will discuss the release and study of this seminal report and the upcoming 6th Congress. Highlighting the recent presentations that Chairman Omali made during his World Tour stops of the Midwest of the United States, and the recent speeches of Bolivia's Evo Morales and Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe at the United Nations declaring their respective sovereignty, as well as the the call for African leaders to withdraw from the International Criminal Court. The segment closes with a brief commemoration of the political legacy of the Grenadian New Jewel Movement and assassination of Maurice Bishop, and the importance of the political education and development of the People as a way to ensure the survival of a revolutionary movement.
