Interview with Cecil Foster on the Life & Times of Austin Clarke. African-Canadian Clarke was born in Barbados and came to Canada in 1955, Tribute to Billy Stewart (March 24, 1937 - January 17, 1970) was an African born in Washington D.C. with a highly distinctive singing style. Stewart was a contemporary of Marvin Gaye. He was a major influence on Philippé Wynne former Spinner and member of Parliament/Funkadelic.
