Guest: John Woodford
John Woodford was born in Chicago in 1941 and grew up in Benton Harbor, Michigan. He earned his BA (Magna Cum Laude) and MA in English Language and Literature from Harvard University. His journalism jobs have included editor-in-chief of Muhammad Speaks Newspaper and executive editor of the University of Michigan's alumni publication Michigan Today. His other posts have been at the New Haven Register, Chicago Sun-Times, New York Times, Ford Motor Co. publications, the Ann Arbor Observer and Ebony and Jet magazines. He has also contributed to the Black Scholar and Against the Current journals. He resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA, with his wife, Elizabeth. They have three grown children and four grandchildren.
