Abdul Alkalimat discusses the controversial film Django Unchained. Alkalimat is a professor of African American studies and Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is the author of several books, including 'Introduction to Afro-American Studies', 'The African American Experience in Cyberspace', and 'Malcolm X for Beginners', as well as the curator of two websites relating to African-American history, Malcolm X: A Research Site and eBlack Studies.
