Hear African People's Socialist Party Chairman Omali Yeshitela's presentation at the weekly Sunday meeting of the St. Petersburg Uhuru House on Sunday, October 19, 2008. In it, the Chairman addresses the attempts by the City of St. Petersburg to stifle the African community's right to free speech, from the police's illegal towing of a Javon Dawson memorial, to the passage this month of 2 new ordinances prohibiting holding banners and leafleting from road medians or around the Tropicana Field sports stadium. He also discusses InPDUM's U.S. national and St. Petersburg endorsements for upcoming elections.
