African Socialist International Chairman Omali Yeshitela discusses the history and significance of The Burning Spear Newspaper. The oldest Black Power newspaper in continuous publication since the 1960s, The Burning Spear Newspaper is the official publication of the African People's Socialist Party. Speaking at the Uhuru Bakery Cafe on December 18, 1987, Chairman Omali explains its role in the development of the theory and practice of the African Liberation Movement.
