The celebration of International women's history month continues with a speech by voting rights activist and human rights leader Fannie Lou Hamer (born Fannie Lou Townsend; October 6, 1917 - March 14, 1977). Mississippi-born Hamer is known for her quote "All my life I've been sick and tired. Now I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired." Rebroadcast of Los Angeles-based poet Helen Williams' discussion on her book "From Birth to Longevity", originally aired in 2013. Musical salute to African women from Canada, featuring Michie Mee, Deborah Cox, Divine Brown, Jully Black, Carol Brown and Tiki Mercury-Clarke.
