Diasporic Music shines the musical spotlight on Jeanette Baker a fixture in the Los Angeles R'n'B scene. Baker was the lead vocalist with The Dots. Her duet with Jesse Belvin, "Looking For Love" was recently released. Abayomi Azikwe, the Editor of The Pan-African News Wire, will discuss the contributions of Ghana's Kwame Nkrumah and Algeria's Ahmed Ben Bella to the cause of African Liberation. Nkrumah joined the ancestors on April 27, 1972 and Ben Bella made his transition of April 11, 2012. "Diasporic Music" is made in the West but is not of the West."
