Interview with Ramon San Vicente. San Vicente is an emcee, author and educator who has spent years writing, performing and living Hip Hop as a member of the group UBAD. He is one of the authors of 'Rhymes to ReEducation', a Hip Hop Curriculum resource guide. We will listen to Kiilu Nyasha talk with Yuri Kochiyama about Yuri Kochiyama's relationship with Malcolm X. Kochiyama was born four years before Malcolm X on May 19, 1921. Malcolm's 89th birthday is May 19th, 2014. Kochiyama was a Japanese-American member of the Organization of Afro-American Unity (OAAU) and currently resides in California. We will also listen to Maya Angelou talk about Malxolm X.
