This week on Reparations in Action, we interview Jevon Gammon and other African People's Socialist Party organizers who participated in the Feb 4th, 2016 action at city hall which demanded that the African community and Chairman Omali Yeshitela have a say in what should replace the blank space in City Hall where a racist depiction of black minstrels entertaining white beachgoers once hung until Omali Yeshitela tore it down during a demonstration in 1966. 50 years later, the city would like to brush this history under the rug without even consulting the surviving activists who rid city hall of the insult to the African community. They will not succeed! Tune in for an uncompromising analysis of colonial depictions of African people and its role in genocide,
