On April 4, 2001, at the Uhuru House in St. Petersburg, Florida, African Socialist International Chairman Omali Yeshitela delivered an important presentation on the class interests and role of the vanguard parties vying for the loyalty of the African community, including the African People's Socialist Party, the U.S. Democratic Party and the U.S. Republican Party. Timely and relevant today as the U.S. presidential electoral campaigns are flooding the airwaves, this presentation also provides an important part of the continuing political education for our Movement as we build the "One People, One Party, One Destiny" recruitment campaign of the African People's Socialist Party.
