On Sunday, June 7th, 2015, the African People's Socialist Party's (APSP) Department of Agitation and Propaganda hosted a special Sunday community meeting to welcome Chairman Omali Yeshitela back to the Party's headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida, from his historic visit to Moscow, Russia. Chairman Omali's trip was sponsored by the Antiglobalization Movement of Russia. It was the first time that the APSP had traveled to that part of the world where V.I. Lenin and the Bolsheviks had struck a momentous blow to U.S. and world imperialism and constructed a socialist economy and society that provided important political and material solidarity to anti-colonial struggles around the world throughout the '60s and '70s.
