Professor Abdul Alkalimat returns for conversation on Marika Sherwood's book "Malcolm X Visits Abroad (April 1964 - February 1965)", about the international travels of Malcolm X. Audio from the short feature film "WURD: Black Music Month", featuring interviews with prominent members of the Philadelphia music scene. The film was produced in conjunction with Reelblack Presents for a Black Music Month event co-sponsored by radio station 900 AM WURD of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The creative concept of the film will likely be expanded upon in the near future for a feature-length documentary on Philadelphia's role in music legacy.
