The opening speech delivered by African People's Socialist Party (APSP) Chairman Omali Yeshitela to the Uhuru Movement Study Intensive held in July of 1998. In it, Chairman Omali Yeshitela reviews the mission and significance of the APSP and the Uhuru Movement. He briefly recounts the counterinsurgent operations that destroyed the Black Revolution of the Sixties and presents evidence of the current crisis of imperialism.
