In this presentation, Chairman Omali explains the significance of Oakland as the birthplace of the Black Panther Party and the effects of COINTELPRO (the FBI's counterintelligence program) and neo-colonialism in setting back the African community's ability to continue the independence struggle to its victorious conclusion.
