A 3-hour special on the history of the African People's Socialist Party, it's vision for Africa's future, and it's development in the context of the worldwide African liberation struggle. Includes excerpts from an intensive African People's Socialist Party training program. Begins with an overview by Chairman Omali Yeshitela on the current world situation and the role of African revolutionary forces to free and unite Africa and African people.
Then hear APSP organizer Diop Olugbala present a comprehensive review of the development of parasitic capitalism through the assault on Africa and theft of its resources and people, followed by the history of the African liberation movement, with analysis of the class contradictions within the African community and the significance of the movements of Marcus Garvey, Dedan Kimathi, Kwame Nkrumah, Patrice Lumumba and more.
