Richmond interviews Toronto, Canada based artist, educator and community builder, The Real Sun, and Southern California based writer Linden Beckford. Beckford attended Grambling State University in Grambling, Louisiana where he majored in history. He lectured on the life of Bob Marley at Cal Poly Pomona University and has also given a presentation at USC on the Black Southern migration to Los Angeles (as a member of Southern CA Oral History Association). Beckford is currently working on the biography of Alprentice "Bunchy" Carter, due to be completed by 2015.
