View live on inpdum.org! InPDUM President Diop Olugbala interviews former chairwoman of the Black Panther Party Elaine Brown about her experiences in the Party, the U.S. counterinsurgency program which targeted the movement, as well as the ongoing counterinsurgency against the African community - which includes the drug economy, prisons, govt. instigated violence amongst our youth, police occupation and neocolonial politicians. They also discuss the future of the resistance led by the Uhuru Movement. This is a special interview because it shows the continuity in the struggle for Black Power and socialism. As Huey P. Newton said in his last speech in 1989 at the Uhuru House in Oakland, "You may not have the Black Panther office but now you have the Uhuru House. You may not have the Black Panther Newspaper but now you have The Burning Spear newspaper...so they really haven't done anything by crushing one organization!" Don't miss this show!
