Black is Back Coalition makes statement at anti-drones rally in Washington DC

On Saturday, April 13th, 2013, a contingent of the Black is Back Coalition for Social Justice, Peace and Reparations, led by International People's Democratic Uhuru Movement President Diop Olugbala and including Black is Back, InPDUM, APSC and Uhuru Solidarity Movement members from Philadelphia, Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland led a bold anti-imperialist stand and presence at the ANSWER Coalition's "Drones Out of Africa, the U.S. and the Middle East!" rally and march on the White House. During the post-march rally, President Olugbala gave a statement from the Black is Back Coalition that challenged the White Left line at the demonstration and called for unity and solidarity around the question of self-determination, liberation and victory for African and all oppressed peoples, not just an end to the use of drones, but victory over imperialism.
