The African People's Socialist Party is poised to launch a month-long St. Petersburg Summer Project beginning July 9, 2011. The St. Petersburg City of Resistance Summer Project will be an intensive, multifaceted movement-building and political education/training campaign. It will strengthen community activists, politically conscious students and socially conscious individuals who seek meaningful ways to participate in transforming society from one of exploiter and exploited, powerful and powerless to a society with social justice where no one tiny minority of humanity lives at the expense of the majority of other human beings. The St. Petersburg City of Resistance Summer Project calls all activists, students and socially conscious individuals who wants to invest in a future with social justice and integrity, who refuse to live at the expense of others, who seek empowerment by empowering others, who want to turn the planet right side up.
