Omali Yeshitela's keynote at African Liberation Day 2012 - Washington DC

This is the keynote presentation made by African Socialist International Chairman Omali Yeshitela's to African Liberation Day 2012, held on May 26th in Washington, D.C. This marked the 40th anniversary of African Liberation Day mobilizations as well as the 40th anniversary of the founding of the African People's Socialist Party. Chairman Omali was an organizer of the first African Liberation Day in 1972, a process out of which the APSP was founded through the merging of three Black Power organizations. Chairman Omali discusses the origin of ALD as well as the primary task of the African Revolution today, the task of building the Party.
