On Thursday, October 25, 2012, Omali Yeshitela, Chairman of the African Socialist International, spoke at the Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany.
This was one of the many stops of the historic Marcus Garvey Legacy Tour 2012, which had several stops throughout Europe.
Many of the stops included a performance by the acclaimed actor, Ron Bobb-Semple. Semple brought to life the words and spirit of Marcus Garvey.
Humboldt University of Berlin has played an important role in the development of the philosophy of historical materialism. Both Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels are alumni.
From the neighborhoods centers, to African immigrant camps, and the Universities, Chairman Omali carried the message of African Internationalism.
